Thats 8 30 mg tabs every day. Yes, it is prescribed that way, and is legitimate. I know, I know - all about the fact that it is a very high dosage. But here is my question.

Now, for the past 3 and a half years, I have ambien on an empty stomach that is not so liberal, sets quantity limits, precertification, step therapy, yada, yada, and long story short: I used to take the Brand name Adderall in barr beginning, but that was at a much lower dose. So anyway, I know for sure that the generic stinks. I have just stayed with it because I did not want to rock the boat, if you will, after my doc having to hassle with the insurance company like he did.

I did not want to lose out in any way. Or is it just me? I have already decided that my next script fill, in about 2 weeks, will be the Brand name Adderall I am going to rock that proverbial boat, and hope for the best with my insurance. I have already ordered it through my pharmacy try finding a pharmacy with that quantity on hand, not many do, though there are some - its just hard to find that much of it.

Not to mention the hassle of going to a new pharmacy and presenting a script which reads "Adderall, 30mg. Take 8 pills a day. They read the script, look at me, read some more, look at me some more, whisper among themselves - all the while watching me like I am a criminal! I have been questioned up and down, left and right, barr my doctor called to confirm the scripts validity, and all sorts of stuff. No fun for sure! My point is that lets barr that the brand name works much better at my current dosage.

Well, couldn't I conceivably work with my "barr" to cut that dosage down to a more reasonable level and still get the same, or perhaps even better, results than I have been with the barr Barr brand? Desoxyn however most definately is methamphetamine and is barr difficult to get and rarely prescribed. However considering the dose you are on, Desoxyn is supposed to have less barr effects and be more effective than regular d-amp, which is what is in Adderal mixed with l-amp and is the only component in dexadrine. I think you should talk to him about trying Dexadrine first, then, if that doesnt work, see if he will give desoxyn a shot.

I have been hesitant to request an increase in the dosage because like many DR's they keep recommending an extended release. Which does not work for me. I take the generic kind because most pharmacies in my area don't stock it and or my insurance requires me to pay full price.

I currently take the barr mfg. I have been taking adderall for 6 years same dosage and have definetly noticed a difference between the generic and the non-generic. The Half life is less barr the generic. I did some research on the various combinations and found that although the ingredients are the same. I do believe the pill press is tighter on the original. If you take a pill by barr and rub it barr two finger does it is more brittle and easier to breakdown or crumble if agitated.

The Pharmacists will swear up and down that its the same thing. Theres a reason its cheaper. Real adderall is the most effective and in my opinion worth the greater expense. Phentermine 30 mg cap sand would like to try xyrem as I've heard you can drastically reduce stimulant dose when on it but since I take xanax and other similar drugs of xanax a day, 16mg of dilaudid a day, and a 30mg barr at night I don't think my psych would give me xyrem.

Real is best but generics are not equal Adderall XR is the best but my insurance requires me to pay a ridiculous amount for it. The Barr generic is not nearly as good, but it is the best of the generics.
