I to was also on lexapro for depression and i have to say they were prob one of the things that made my life easier to manage i was just starting lexapro anxiety worse 20mg a day and firmily believe they put me on the road to recovery i had no side effects apart from a sickening feeling in my side effects of zolpidem tablets for the two weeks it took for them to take effect and the same feeling when i was coming of them i was on them for 10mths and never had any problem[; ]. Any experiences with this? I'm on my second week of Lexapro. First week at 5mg was a doozy. My anxiety was crazy bad.

Lexapro worse starting just anxiety

Before you can post or reply in these forums, please join our online community. I'm sorry you are struggling with intrusive thoughts. I know how terrible it has to have them constantly there. I know how scary it is. SSRI can take up to a few weeks to take effect. They may not have taken an effect yet. I wouldn't be too concerned if just starting lexapro anxiety worse intrusive thoughts haven't decreased yet, this is normal on day 6.
