Significant Weight gain coming off adderall weight gain Adderall. I've taken adderall xr, dexedrine and ritalin not simultaneously off and on for nearly 15 years for attention deficit disorder. Undoubtedly after a few months on the medications i always end up stopping due to really dramatic flactuations of mood while coming down depression, anxiety, guilt, hostility etc. Everytime I'm taken these med breaks, which usually last between a few months to a year I am not nearly as productive as I am while on the meds, but my coming off adderall weight gain stabilizes and I'm able to cope ok. However during these breaks I always gain a large amount of weight rapidly. Logistically I know the weight "adderall weight gain coming off" is partly due to an increase in appetite which is pretty much non-existant while on the meds but it's always so significant and rapid last time I gained nearly 40 pounds in 6 months that I'm wondering if there is more going on here. Because can adderall cause overactive thyroid, even though my food intake does increase it's certainly not outside of normal eating range. Is it possible that the lack of adderall in my system causes my metabolism to become sluggish and not work at the same capacity it would if I never took the drugs? Or could it be that my body is so used to being in starvation mode that it stores fat in anticipation?

Gaining weight after stopping the use of Adderall?
Big community funding update! June 2, 9: What can I expect if I stop taking the drug? Since starting Adderall for my adult-diagnosis ADD, I've dropped about 10 pounds, taking me from the reliably mids girl I've been my whole life to a more Jessica-Alba-like ish. Will my current weight be my new set point, and relatively easy to maintain? Will my body drift back up to its old ish "normal", then stop? Or could my metabolism come back online in some sort of crazed starvation mode, causing me to gain a ton of extra weight on top of that? Someone I know recently got off Adderall, and he's increased a huge increase in appetite since then. Actually, I'm not even sure if increase in appetite is the right way to put it since he says he doesn't feel significantly more hungry, he just has a desire to eat a lot more than while he was on the medication.
Well, one of us is eating. And it's not Amanda. Rates of women who are opting for preventive mastectomies, such as Angeline Jolie, have increased by an estimated 50 percent in recent years, coming off adderall weight gain say.
When I first started taking Adderall, my life changed almost immediately. I finally figured out how easy it is to fold my weight gain right after washing it, instead of leaving it in "clean" piles on the floor for weeks. I finally learned how to be on time instead of consistently 12 minutes late. I became quieter, more organized and I finally stopped losing my keys. I started taking ADD medication relatively late in life, at coming off adderall for a millennial.

I was taking adderall for six years. I stopped after college, and my doctor told me I would gain some weight due to my metabolism slowing down. I was told I could gain pounds, and I gained almost 50lbs.

Vyvanse weight gain is a serious problem that affects both men and women who decide to quit using Vyvanse. Many times, women will actually delay coming off of Vyvanse for months or even years out of fear that their metabolism will plummet, and all hell will break loose with their body. Getting off ADHD meds is hard enough as it is.
