So I was on Valium for about 2 years 2 mgs per day until I 2nd trimester pregnant and i took two zolpidem taking them cold turkey at six weeks. For about four weeks I have had severe painful migraines that made me cry so bad. I am pretty sure I have been unknowingly going through withdrawl, which my doctors never apparently thought to warn me about. Now I'm so worried about if I've hurt the baby by 1 taking it til 6 weeks pregnant and 2 the stress of withdrawl on my body and the baby: No I just stopped as soon as I found out I was pregnant bc I didn't want 2nd trimester be on any diazepam pregnancy. Felt totally felt mentally, thought the headaches were just pregnancy related. I was taking about two Valium 2nd trimester week to help with my insomnia, but my doctor told me as soon as we wanted to try to get pregnant stop right away. I asked my nurse at my last appointment, she confirmed the same thing. I would stay away and ask for an alternative if possible.

All judgment welcome. Okay so before falling pregnant I had bad anxiety and depression but stopped taking my anti depressants and Valium as soon as finding out I'm pregnant. Recently the depression and anxiety has been so extreme I'm diazepam in pregnancy 2nd trimester it hard to cope.
