I am about to finish my first week of Lexapro. I have been taking 5mg to start and am about to switch to 10mg. I have been getting mild headaches and am feeling apprehensive about upping the dosage.

I'm on citalopram 20mg, and I don't have very significant side effects now, but when I started out I had headaches and a sore neck for a while. The overstimulation of jaw-muscles caused the headaches there where they are connected to the skull and also radiated out into the neck and shoulder muscles. We me it went away within weeks and until then Aspirin was my friend. I had it the whole 15mo. I was on Lexparo. My doc said it was tension headaches, right on, lol! It went away when I went on Cymbalta.
