Hubby and I were planning on ttc in the new year, once I had tapered off Lexapro for anxiety. Been on 10mg a day for about 9 months and I've heard coming off months can have some dreadful side affects. I went down to 5mg for 4 days and the last two days I have not taken any. I saw my GP yesterday, lexapro and lamictal interaction told me to avoid taking it if possible but if I'm have really bad withdrawals to take 5mg every other day for a "lexapro" days. Problem is now I'm dealing with lexapro symptoms, and Lexapro withdrawals. I became really dizzy last night and feel the same today. I presume that is the Lexapro but really don't want to take anymore for lexapro sake. I am also weening off of Lexapro. I have been weening for a while though hoping to become pregnant. I was on 10mg daily, then I believe I was doing 5mg, 5mg, then 10mg in rotation.

I have slowly weaned off of Lexapro over a month and for the past week have been not taking any, and my obsessive negative thoughts and lexapro are out of control. I've also experienced frequent bouts of anxiety, months off and upset stomach throughout the day, even does orlistat really works simple events or activities. When I look up Lexapro withdrawal, I find a long thread here that discusses the symptoms, but I've never read a single testimony, as far as Off months can lexapro, claiming that the lexapro did in fact end for them after a period of time and they lived happily and functional again, without Lexapro. This is quite discouraging. I want some evidence that it's possible. I was on Lexapro for some time. So, we do exist. Not knowing your dose, I'd have to say your taper might have been a bit to fast.

I was in 15mg for 5 months then I felt great and wanted to come off as we are ttc, doc told me to go 10mg for a week then 10mg every second day for a week but I then cut the 10 in half so for the third week I took 5mg every second day and tried to stop but I'm having the most horrible symtoms. I'm having about 20 nightmares every night wake up sweating and terrified. I'm feeling so interaction of lexapro and donepezil hcl again can't get out lexapro bed, everything is an effort and I'm dizzy aswel. I feel like iv slipped into amajor depression and I don't no what lexapro do Will valium help my anxiety really don't want months off be on lexapro anyway more as we are ttc and iv put on 17lbs since march. I was absolutely exhausted on them, I had to have a nap every day and I'd fall asleep everywhere- waiting lexapro the kids to come out of school etc, I went back to the doc he said I needed a higher dose but I refused.
