Throught yesterday I took 40mg of diazepam in 3 pieces, morning, lunch and before bedtime. I heard it's half-life or something is pretty long, like hours or something, but it's effects only around 8 hours. I was planning to drink tonight and want to know if it's safe. I know mixing benzos and alcohol is bad, but does that apply to the effects time or the time it's take valium after out of your system the half-life thingy.

Right now it's been about 20hours after I took 15mg of diazepam. I'm not on a diazepam long-term cure or anything, It was just one day trying take valium after. The half valium drinking take after is 30 hrs. This means in 30hrs you will still have half the dose in valium instead of xanax body.

In 30 more hours you will have a quarter of it, etc. It takes hrs for it to be out of your body. I would not mix alcohol with it. I've seen people stop breathing doing that.
