Hey Guys Currently tapering off lexapro 5 mg to taper of Lexapro. I'm hoping for the best. Just want to feel well again. You would do well to research how to get yourself back on track again. But probably freak out from all the side effects?
I was on 10mg per day so I just went to every other day, probably over a course of a month or so, a pharmaceutical company has been researching the "tapering off lexapro 5 mg" of binding alprazolam. Yeah definitely take it slow. I want to start tapering myself off and wanted to know if dropping down to 5mg would be too much and if I should try 7. I hope you find something that works for you.
Hubby and I were planning on ttc in the new year, once I had tapered off Lexapro for anxiety. Been on 10mg a day for about 9 months and I've heard coming off can have some dreadful side affects.

I am successfully withdrawing from Lexapro, Welbutrin, and Lyrica. Stopped these meds mid December There are mild side effects but am pleased with progress. I now have mental clarity beyond "tapering off" hopes over the past 10 years. Yesterday my new new doctor prescribed Ziprasidone HCL 20mg for mild bipolar disorder. I filled the scrip, but have not started the medication. Have been researching the side effects, which are frightening. Am calling the Dr. It seems to me that I am being prescribed medicine for temporary side lexapro. I am trying to find help for fibromyalgia and think that reducing stress will help.

Having a difficult time getting into psychiatrist due to wait list. I was doing fine until 2 weeks ago when severe anxiety hit, no appetite, flu like symptoms and very emotional. Any Lexapro Tapering off Success Stories?!?? Currently attempting to taper of Lexapro. I was on 15 mg and then switched to 10mg for about a week or so. But was eventually able to sleep.

I have been on 5mg of Lexapro daily since October almost 4 months and after doing talk therapy and attacking my anxiety head on and with other means aside from the medication my doctor said I am ready to come off. She said I shouldn't feel much since I was on it for a short period of time and at such a low dose, but I'm a bit skeptical. My anxiety was really bad when I went on it and I experienced brutal side effects for about the first two-three weeks of taking it before feeling better.
