Posted February 3, Week 3 of Accutane, will the initial breakout really last 3 months?! How can that be considered "initial"?! Honestly, I almost wonder if its going to worth it. My acne is worst now than it was before taking Accutane.

How long does your initial breakout with accutane last? I started taking accutane 2 months ago and my initial breakout is so horrible!!

Posted March 26, Sorry to be all doomsday In the next weeks you will probably have some really good days and then bam something else comes in. It seems for the majority that get the IB myself included things start to settle down the third month.

I started taking accutane 2 months ago and my initial breakout is so horrible!! My skin is a zillion times worse than before I even started accutane. I am taking yaz birth control as well and was thinking maybe it's contributing to my horrible break out? Someone please tell me there's hope??
