I feel that possibility that this is the Rx causing so many side effects. Dry mouth, spinning thoughts, restless legs, insomnia. I'm back in it now bcuz I need it. I also take nuerontin to help.
As I said on my blog post, my doctor gave me ssri,s for depression. After 2 weeks I am feeling massively better. But as everyone warned me they have made the rls a lot worse. I'm taking codeine to help with that but don't want to stop the anti d. Folk said wellbutrin was an alternative to use, but its not available in the UK. I started Wellbutrin SR about 5 weeks ago. First 3 weeks was mg once per day, taken in the morning. Last two weeks it's been mg 2x daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. There have been some side effects but overall no bad reaction to the med tho still waiting for the mood lifting effects of it The side effects have been tolerable for the most part. I did have a headache for the first 12 days but that stopped thank goodness. I was experiencing a 'crash' in the afternoons when I was on it once a day. That's gotten better since being on it 2x daily. I've been benefiting from the appetite suppressant effect of it lost 8 pounds this past month and almost back to my ideal weight However, there is one side effect in particular that is really starting to tick me off. Every time I try to relax, I get restless legs. I have this sensation like I need to get up and DO something, yet I don't wanna get up, I just wanna be able to relax but it's like my legs don't want to stop squirming around.

Nighttime creepy-crawlies aren't limited to camping or Halloween. For approximately 10 percent of Americans, tingly, itchy sensations -- mostly between the ankle and the knee -- aren't the creeping of spiders or the fluttering of bats, but a neurological disorder called Restless Legs Syndrome, or RLS. Most sensations occur in the lower legs, but the arms, torso and face may also be affected.

Looking for experience, advice, the usual. I thought best to ask Ars since googling for psychiatric meds is about as fulfilling as appending your home address to Usenet posts.
